5 Easy WordPress Themes for Creatives

 In Themes

When I started out doing graphic design work, I was a Print Designer. As I’ve grown in my career, so has design and it’s capabilities. Eventually, most of my clients were looking for a web, social media and print person in one. So, I embarked on a huge learning curve and learned how to set up websites. My go-to platform is WordPress. It’s easy, user friendly and reliable, especially when you use WordPress Themes. Although there are so many other things we can talk about, like backing up your site and site security, I’ll leave that to the hosting pros and show you some of my favorite WordPress themes.

Two disclaimers: 1) Do you due diligence before purchasing a theme. I haven’t used everyone of these themes, so research each of these even more before you buy. 2.) Some of the links on this page are affiliate links. That means that if you make a purchase using one of them, I get a commission. It’s part of how I stay in business.

Now, lets get to it!

1. Brisk

Brisk is super clean, comes with demos. Just add your content and go. I LOVE a good visual composer and Brisk comes with one of those too. That means that as you build, you literally drag and drop elements into the place you want them. The downfall? It comes with sound effects. Turn those off, no one like them 😉

2. Jupiter

I literally cannot say enough good things about Jupiter. Almost every site I build uses this theme. The customer support is good, the theme is beautiful and it comes with 150 plus pre built templates. Just load a template and replace the dummy content with your content. And of course, it comes with Visual Composer.

3. Bridge

I haven’t use this theme but I’ve heard and read good things about it. Its clean, beautiful and has almost 300 templates to get you started. The ratings are really good and the support seems good too!

4. Uncode

Uncode has lots of sales, good reviews and comes with several sought after plug ins. The customer gallery is really stunning. I haven’t used this theme yet but I’m seriously considering it for my next project. I’ll update if it is everything I’m expecting!

5. TheGem

Here is what TheGem Says about their theme: “TheGem is a versatile, responsive, high-performance WordPress theme with a modern creative design to suit a multitude of creative uses for building websites.” Again, they have a visual composer and great plugins. I love that this theme is specifically for creatives.
